Measure the circumference of the finger concerned to know the size of ring that would fit it. To do this, bring a tape measure, then go around the finger that will wear the ring. Then look at the measurement obtained where the tape measure meets and refer to the finger circumference ring size matching table below.
You can replace the ribbon with a string.
